Location: Suburban Hospital, Bethesda, MD

PRN/8 hours per week/Evenings-3pm-11:30pm

Weekend work Required

Position Summary:

  • Accurately performs routine and special clinical laboratory tests in one or more disciplines including quality control and equipment maintenance to ensure accurate results.
  • Assists in resolving technical and operational problems.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

  • A baccalaureate degree (B.S. or B.A.) in Medical Technology or related science is preferred

Work Experience:

  • One year experience in a clinical laboratory is preferred.

Required Licensure, Certification, On-going Training:

  • Licensure/Certification/Registration: MT (ASCP) or equivalent is required
