RN II - Psych Outpatient-Part Time

Position Summary:

The RN II - CPP Health Suite works with patients with psychiatry and mental health orders. Safely administers medication to patients and assists physicians in administering treatments and diagnostic tests. Takes vital signs and evaluates patient care provided by LPN's, technicians, nursing assistants, etc. Reports significant changes in patients' condition or affect to appropriate nursing or physician professional. Assists with or implements corrective measures as directed during adverse patient developments. Maintains current, accurate and complete records of nursing observation and care. Responds to patient inquiries, complaints and routine service requests. Attends in-service training and continuing education programs. Performs related nursing duties as assigned.

Education/Work Experience:

Work requires RN license at MBON or compact state

AA degree (must enroll in BSN in 18 months and complete in 4 years)

Previous specialty experience = one to two years experience working within the substance abuse or mental health field.

Shift:

8 Hours Monday-Friday
