  • Provide back-up support when needed for in-person check-in and check-out process for patients arriving/completing OB Ultrasound appointment at Bayview Medical Center.

  • Complete appointment audits for appointments scheduled in the future to ensure all compliance standards have been met. This includes confirming (and coordinating if needed):

  • Correct order is signed and linked

  • Correct appointment notes have been added to ensure easy pre-authorization process

  • Appointment is scheduled at appropriate time point per the recommendations of the clinician or the MFM ordering the imaging.

  • Review previous day’s completed US scans to ensure appropriate follow-up is scheduled.

  • Complete weekly appointment reviews for High Risk OB clinic to ensure insurance enrollment.

  • Manage and review weekly report of upcoming Nurse history visits scheduled at Yard 56 and send out information regarding Healthy Babies to appropriate patients.

  • Create and maintain tracking system for OB patients seen at Yard 56 to ensure insurance enrollment and other financial assistance as needed. This may include:

  • Weekly updates to Patient Lists housed within Epic for tracking patients.

  • Collaborate with Yard 56 financial support staff to ensure patients have been contacted and are in process for any and all financial assistance programs they may qualify for. This may include:

  • Weekly meetings with HCAM, HBA representatives to review patients that are “MA pending” / “Non-participating” / “Self-pay” status

  • Weekly meetings to help support Yard 56 initial contact of new patients 30 days prior to First OB appointment to ensure smooth coordination of care and enrollment into coverage.

  • Schedule post-partum appointments for patients that have delivered prior to discharge.

  • Monthly audit of 10 appointments to ensure compliance for all US appointments.

  • Send resources to patients as needed.

  • Other projects and tasks as needed.
