The Certified Medical Assistant at the Pediatric GI Clinic is a multi-faceted CMA position focusing on case management, patient education, facilitation of clinic workflows, and support GI focused procedures. Applicants need to be flexible and comfortable with change. Teamwork is critical. Must have a comfort level with modalities such as in-basket management and electronic medical record patient messaging. Applicants must display a willingness to be an active participant in departmental growth.

Shifts: 8 hour shifts Monday-Friday; no weekends

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program required
  • Completion of CMA certification with the credentials of RMA, NCMA, NRCMA, CCMA or CMAA required prior to hire
  • Valid CPR certification required upon hire
  • Ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of CMA experience
