Are you passionate about providing high-quality care to patients with ear, nose, and throat conditions? Join our dynamic and compassionate Otolaryngology team at Johns Hopkins Hospital! We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or a Physician Assistant to work alongside our renowned Otolaryngologists in delivering exceptional care to our inpatient population. What You’ll Do:
As aa ACNP or Physician Assistant in our Otolaryngology department, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Perform comprehensive health assessments for patients with a range of ear, nose, and throat conditions.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests to help diagnose and treat both acute and chronic conditions.
- Collaborate closely with attending physicians to develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
- Educate and counsel patients, helping them understand their treatment options and ensuring they feel empowered in their care.
- Monitor patient progress and manage complications, ensuring optimal outcomes.
- Work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, contributing to rounds and patient care discussions.
- Serve as a mentor and resource for nursing staff, residents, and medical students, sharing your knowledge and expertise.
What We’re Looking For:
- A Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant program.
- National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Current licensure as an APRN or Physician Assistant in the state of Maryland.
- At least two years of clinical experience, preferably in Otolaryngology or a related specialty.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record documentation.

Salary Range: Minimum 53.15 per hour - Maximum 82.38 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
