We are seeking a dedicated Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) to join our Cardiovascular Surgical Intensive Care Unit (CVSICU) team on a full-time night shift. This role involves providing high-level care to critically ill patients following cardiovascular surgeries, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to manage complex patient needs in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care in the CVSICU during the night shift, including assessment, diagnosis, and management of postoperative cardiovascular patients.
  • Collaborate with attending physicians, surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
  • Perform procedures and interventions as required, such as central line placements, arterial lines, and intubation.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and provide patient education and support.
  • Participate in rounds and contribute to the development of patient care strategies.
  • Ensure seamless care during the overnight shift, maintaining continuity and communication with daytime teams.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree as a Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
  • Active, unrestricted ACNP license and certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in critical care or cardiovascular medicine (preferred).
  • Ability to work independently and make critical decisions in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • Availability to work full-time night shifts.

Salary Range: Minimum 55.81 per hour - Maximum 86.51 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
