The Comprehensive Transplant Unit is a 32 bed adolescent/adult surgical unit. The unit offers 3 levels of care: floor, telemetry, and intermediate levels of care. Care and services provided: post-operative abdominal organ (kidney, liver, and pancreas) transplant recipients; as well as medical management of complications secondary to transplantation. This unit is the designated step down for the Composite Tissue Allotransplantation (hand & face) recipients. New graduate nurses will have a 10 week orientation to general/tele and then an additional 6 weeks to IMC level.
All New Graduate RNs will be automatically enrolled in our yearlong accredited Nurse Residency Program to facilitate your successful transition into professional nursing practice.

Qualifications:
- Associate degree from Accredited Nursing Program
- Applicants with an Associate’s degree JHH provides Tuition Reimbursement towards earning your BSN/MSN
- Active Maryland or Compact RN license
- BLS CPR certification
- No RN work experience needed!

Important Notices:
***Nurses hired with an Associate’s degree in nursing must enroll in an accredited BSN/MSN program within 1 year of hire and complete the degree within 5 years of your start date.
***Authorization to Work in the United States: Applicants who require sponsorship now or in the future will not be considered for this position.
Salary Range: Minimum 34.00 per hour - Maximum 51.16 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
