The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) in the Orthopedic Clinic has duties and responsibilities related to patient care in the ambulatory clinic environment. The individual displays responsible behaviors, communicates effectively to others and functions as a member of the healthcare team. The CMA maintains an inventory of examination/procedure room supplies, assists in the organization of efficient patient flow, and organizes the clinic environment to assure patient safety.

Shift:

Full Time (40 hours)

Day Shift, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm

No nights or weekends!

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program required
  • Ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience.

Licensure/Certification:

  • Completion of CMA certification with the credentials of RMA, NCMA, NRCMA, CCMA or CMAA required prior to hire
  • Valid BLS CPR certification required upon hire; JHH accepts AHA, Red Cross, and military training network

Salary Range: Minimum $18.15 per hour - Maximum $26.32 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
