Job Title: Biomedical Equipment Tech 2

Location: Baltimore, MD

Position Type: Full time, 40 Hours Weekly, Dayshift

Job Summary:

Inspects, tests, calibrates, troubleshoots, maintains, repairs, and modifies biomedical electronic and electromechanical devices. Has direct responsibility for all serviced devices. This work is performed under minimal supervision using the tools and techniques of biomedical technology.

Education: Applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent. It requires the completion of formal training in a recognized certificate program in biomedical technology or electronics at a recognized technical school, college, or apprenticeship sponsor organization. Or, in lieu of formal training, a candidate must demonstrate 5 years of experience in a technical profession involving electronics, or computer/software-related work. Must demonstrate the accomplishment of continuing education annually, such as service school attended, certifications, and recognized technical training in related fields.

Work Experience: 2 years of related work experience.

Salary Range: Minimum 28.05 per hour - Maximum 46.31 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
