The Clinical Pharmacist II (Internal Medicine/ Critical Care) is responsible for providing clinical pharmacy services and operational support in the areas of Internal Medicine and Critical Care. The pharmacist will primarily cover the ICU and intermediate care unit. In addition, the pharmacist will rotate through other decentralized coverage areas such as antimicrobial stewardship, telemetry, general medicine/surgical units, and the central pharmacy when necessary. The job duties affect direct patient care through pharmacy dose protocols, code coverage, participation in multi-disciplinary rounds, and precepting pharmacy students and residents.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • PharmD Degree Required
  • Registered or eligible to be registered in the State of Maryland as a Pharmacist
  • Completion of a specialized residency program or postgraduate training is preferred
  • Previous clinical experience is preferred

Salary Range: Minimum 53.79 per hour - Maximum 88.82 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
