Summary:

The Development Coordinator requires a highly professional individual to coordinate office services, and support the daily operations of a multifaceted fundraising office. Reporting to the Director of Development Operations, this position will prepare correspondence, answer phones, order supplies, maintain calendars, and various other assignments as needed. In addition, the Development Coordinator serves as the administrative liaison to the Foundation Board and provides personalized stewardship to Suburban Hospital Foundation donors.

Education:

High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant development or business experience is highly valued.

Work Experience:

3 – 5 years of related experience required. Additional experience preferred. Additional education may be substituted for years of related experience.

  • Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team; take initiative, be a self-starter, proactive problem solver, have perseverance; and maintain a high degree of professionalism, diplomacy, and confidentiality.
  • Comfortable working in a complex, multi-department organization and dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with a command of detail.
  • Demonstrate effective writing and editorial skills.
  • Ability to speak and to write with ease, clarity and impact.

Salary Range: Minimum 27.04 per hour - Maximum 44.63 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
