The Distribution Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day and long-term operations of the delivery-service function of Johns Hopkins

Pharmaquip. This position reports to the Director of DME and Clinical Respiratory Services.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing dispatch, delivery and service staff; Assuring the security and safety of warehouse and delivery operations.
  • Analyzing business operations and making improvements to achieve optimal performance.
  • Managing and analyzing the financial performance of
  • the distribution operation.
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement based on data collected and be able to facilitate teams that will design and
  • implement the changes
  • Working proactively with all areas of the organization to provide the highest levels of patient safety and excellent
  • customer service;
  • Perform administrative tasks for distribution services as well as collects data on all core process’ to ensure that best practice
  • standards are maintained

Education:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field, or equivalent work experience with training in logistics and warehouse management required

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of five years supervisory experience in home health care or related field with two to three years experience in homecare aspects of Durable Medical Equipment preferred.
  • Experience managing the financial aspects of a complex business operation.

Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of Johns Hopkins Pharmaquip's mission, organization, and procedures
  • Knowledge of all aspects of the homecare business

Salary Range: Minimum 29.35 per hour - Maximum 53.28 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
