RN Ambulatory Care Clinic

Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center's Ambulatory Care Clinic is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join the team. This role provides critical support to the clinic and focusing on the triaging of our patients. The ideal candidate will work closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient care and outcomes.

Work Hours: 40 hours/week - Mon. - Fri. 8am - 5pm

What You'll Need to be Successful:

• Bachelors' Degree, Associate degree, or Diploma in Nursing from an Accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Maryland or compact state Registered Nurse license.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Minimal of two years clinical RN experience required.
• Outpatient/ambulatory care nursing experience and/or in patient acute care is a plus.

Key responsibilities are, but not limited to:

• Prescribes, delegates, coordinates, provides and implements care for patients who seek care on an episodic or ongoing basis which may continue over time or involve multiple disciplines. Assist in the medical plan of care by implementing prescribed diagnostic, therapeutic, preventative, and wellness regimens.
• Performs screening, triage, treatment, education and care coordination duties.
• Facilitates service by providing direction to ancillary staff to ensure that patient care is administered in a thorough, safe and knowledgeable manner.
• May function in a formal leadership role in order to plan, direct, and coordinate service activities.

Qualifications:

• Current Maryland RN license or multi-state, compact RN license required
• Current CPR certification required
• Bachelors' Degree or Associate in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing
• Previous experience is a plus
• Will consider New Grad

Salary Range: Minimum $38.49/hour - Maximum $​​​​59.66/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
