Summary:

Executive Assistant – Office of Population Health

The Executive Assistant (EA) supports the Chief Population Health Officer/Vice President for Population Health (CPHO/VP) in managing the Johns Hopkins Medicine (JHM) Office of Population Health (OPH). This role requires strong organizational skills, confidentiality, and the ability to handle shifting priorities independently.

  • Manage scheduling, meetings, and document organization for OPH.
  • Serve as a frontline representative to leadership, faculty, staff, and external partners.
  • Coordinate and track OPH projects, ensuring follow-ups and milestone monitoring.
  • Support administrative reports, presentations, and literature searches.
  • Handle travel arrangements, reimbursements, and correspondence for the CPHO/VP.
  • Use software to create presentations, charts, and other materials.

Cardiology & Academic Support:

  • Assist with JHOC cardiology clinic operations (½ day per week), including patient follow-ups and insurance coordination.
  • Support clinical activities, including MyChart responses, referrals, and medication refills.
  • Maintain the CPHO/VP’s CV, track publications, and assist with national society memberships.

This role requires professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent public relations skills to support both operational and clinical functions.

Work Location: Baltimore, Maryland Work Setting: Hybrid-2-3 days onsite.

Education:

Bachelor's degree highly preferred. Requires two years college level coursework, technical business school or equivalent. Additional experience may be substituted for education. (Equivalency Formula: Related experience beyond minimum training experience qualifications may substitute for formal education requirement on a two-years experience-for-one year education basis.)

Work Experience:

Five years of related experience

Salary Range: Minimum $22.00/hour - Maximum $​​​​36.32/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
