Position Summary:
Under general supervision, provides supportive services to patients and families. Provides information regarding patient information, hospital services, policies, and procedures. Provides emotional support to families of patients in crisis.
Shift : Full-time (40 hours), Rotating Shift:
5:00 am- 1:30 pm, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, 11:30 am - 8:00 pm
Education/Experience/Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent. At least two years of experience in a healthcare environment is preferred. It requires knowledge of general policies and procedures of patient representative programs, generally acquired through three to six months of experience on this job or equivalent.
- Requires knowledge of general policies and procedures of patient representative program generally acquired through three to six months of experience to interact with patients, families, and medical staff freq, gently patient complaints, and prepare reports.
- Substantial interpersonal skills are needed to interact frequently with patients, families, and medical staff and to comfort patients’ families, as well as advanced communication skills.

Salary Range: Minimum 17.11 per hour - Maximum 28.26 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
