The Radiology Intake Center Patient Service Coordinator (PSC) IV utilizes excellent communication skills and
knowledge to perform comprehensive patient scheduling and coordinate clinical operations for physicians within their division. The PSCIV
communicates directly with physicians, medical staff, and patients, in order to appropriately coordinate care and facilitate patient flow. The PSCIV
demonstrates a high level of independence, analytical thinking, and flexibility. Responsibilities include patient scheduling, identifying and obtaining
pertinent clinical information and records, administrative duties, pre-registration, intervening with insurance related matters, proficiency with
insurance guidelines, and billing functions. This requires the use of various automated computer systems, which requires JHH certification.
Five (5) years of relevant work experience in medical office, hospital, medical call center or similar
customer service environment. Extensive medical insurance processing, admissions and/or
insurance experience required.
Salary Range: Minimum $20.22/hour - Maximum $33.38/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
