SURGICAL ASSISTANT II

Days- 36 hours

Call and Weekends required

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  1. Board certified (or eligible for certification) by National Surgical Assistant Association (NSAA) or the American Board of Surgical Assistants (ABSA), or other acceptable Surgical Assistant Certification (e.g., NBSTSA), and maintain a minimum CME.
  2. Minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a Surgical Assistant in all surgical specialties and ability to use judgment in assessing the situation as it develops and responding appropriately.

LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:

  1. Current certification by NSAA or ABSA or other acceptable Surgical Assistant Certification (e.g., NBSTSA).
  2. Current CPR certification.
  3. Must be able to pass all hospital competencies required for the position.

Salary Range: Minimum $36.47 per hour - Maximum $60.21 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.

Salary Range: Minimum 35.93 per hour - Maximum 59.32 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
