All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL is hiring a CT Technologist for pediatric CT imaging.
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday
- Day Shift
- 8am - 4:30pm
- On-call rotations will be required
- 13 week contract assignment
Pay Range: $58 - $62
**Local Florida applicants only - this is not a travel contract**
Requirements
- Performs all CT examinations according to department procedure manual and established protocols.
- Interviews patients (in/out) for history pertaining to CT exam. This history is to include unusual conditions or limitations and other pertinent information
- Visually verifies accuracy of radiology order by checking physicians order in patients’ chart or prescription.
- Performs CT Imaging studies utilizing knowledge of instrumentation and ionizing radiation, cross sectional anatomy, along with technology and skills to produce quality CT images for interpretation by a Radiologist.
- Uses hospital information system, via EPIC to access laboratory results for exam related information.
Qualifications
- Minimum of high school diploma or GED is required
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT), in both Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT).
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a CT Technologist is required
- CPR certification with the American Heart Association (AHA) is required
- Advanced knowledge of computer applications (RIS and PACS) is required
