General Summary:
- The Occupational Therapist provides medically prescribed occupational therapy services to inpatients and/or outpatients to restore function, prevent disability following injury or disease, and assist the patient in reaching his/her maximum possible level of function to assume a place in society while learning to live within the limits of their disability. The job duties are to provide assessments and treatments in for inpatients/outpatients as assigned. Work frequently requires internal contacts outside the work group to exchange work-related information.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution, with successful completion of two (2) supervised clinical internships with a combined duration of at least six (6) months.
- Two (2) or more years experience with occupational therapy preferred, relevant to the settings to which the employee will be assigned.
- Occupational Therapist license from the State of Maryland.
- Current CPR certification.
Salary Range: Minimum 36.47/hour - Maximum 60.21/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
