As a PET/CT Technologist, you will utilize radionuclides and radiopharmaceuticals to perform or assist in the performance of diagnostic examinations, including the preparation and administration of radiopharmaceuticals and radionuclide imaging of organs and organ systems of patients. You will have the opportunity to work with the latest equipment and collaborate with radiologists while working exclusively with outpatient patients.

PET/CT Technologists work exclusively on PET/CT imaging exams.  You will not be responsible for DEXA exams or theranostic infusions.  At Johns Hopkins Medical Imaging, technologists are supported by a team of schedulers and nurses so you can focus on ensuring high-quality imaging.

You will work closely with a team of PET/CT technologists and a team of on-site clinical leadership who are dedicated to fostering growth opportunities.  The PET/CT imaging suite at Johns Hopkins Medical Imaging in Bethesda has been recently renovated and upgraded.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma including successful completion of an approved curriculum in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • Nuclear Medicine Technologist license by the Maryland Board of Physicians.
  • ARRT CT certification within 6 months of employment
  • Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board certified with current registration.
  • CPR certification required within three months of employment.

Shift:

Full Time (40 hours)

Day Shift

9:30am - 6:00pm
