The Johns Hopkins Cardiovascular Diagnostic Laboratory (CVDL) is a state of the art imaging facility performing over 24,000 diagnostic and interventional procedures annually. We treat the following conditions:
- Congenital heart defects
- Coronary artery disease
- Cardiomyopathy
- Heart failure
- Peripheral vascular disease
- Valvular heart disease
The CVDL operates eleven (11) procedure rooms. There are general areas within the CVDL:
- Cardiology
- Radiology
- Electrophysiology
We are currently searching for a Cardiovascular Radiology Technologist to join our elite team. As a Cardiovascular Rad Tech you will:

Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of an approved AMA School of Radiologic Technology
- AA degree preferred
- No direct cardiology experience required
- New grads encouraged to apply
- Licensed by the Maryland Board of Physicians Quality Assurance as a Radiology Tech
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
- CVRT I: Current BLS/ACLS Certification required within 1 year from the end of orientation date. Advanced certification is encouraged. Must pass JHH Arrhythmia Course and Exam before recording independently
- CVRT II: Current BLS/ACLS Certification required. CI or CV registry is encouraged, in Electrophysiology, RCES registry and HRS certification is encouraged. Current PALS
- Certification is required if in pediatric cardiology. Must pass the JHH Arrhythmia Recognition exam annually.
Shift:
Full Time (40 hours)
Day Shift
7:00am – 5:30pm
10 hour shifts
On-Call and Weekend work is required
