Shift: Monday - Friday 8:30am-5pm
Pay rate: $40 -$50 per Hour
Requirements
The Employee Relations Specialist Senior leads complex employee relations investigations, ensures compliance with employment laws, and serves as a key advisor to Human Resource Business Partners (HRBPs), leaders, and employees.
- Conduct thorough Title VII and non‑Title VII investigations and address employee complaints, workplace concerns, and disputes.
- Advise HRBPs and managers on employee relations policies, performance concerns, corrective actions, and disciplinary decisions.
- Support the development, implementation, and interpretation of HR policies while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Educate employees and leaders on HR policies, workplace expectations, and relevant labor laws.
- Mediate conflicts between employees and leadership, providing coaching and counseling as needed.
- Recommend strategies to strengthen workplace relationships, improve engagement, and enhance retention.
- Support the performance management process, including training, tracking trends, and consulting on performance improvement plans (PIPs).
- Conduct exit interviews, identify trends, and partner with HR to develop retention strategies.
- Maintain current knowledge of employment laws and ensure compliance in all employee relations matters.
- Prepare and present reports on employee relations trends, findings, and outcomes to leadership and HRBPs.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in employee relations or a similar HR role.
- Experience conducting Title VII and non‑Title VII investigations preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational, project management, and administrative skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Sharp critical thinking skills and strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
