The Paint Supervisor plans, schedules, assigns, directs and supervises the work performed by bargaining unit staff. Responsible for overall supervision of maintenance and repair work on the interior and exterior building surfaces. Assures work quality and progress in compliance with the collective bargaining agreement, JHH standards, and local, state and federal codes. This work is performed under limited supervision and using the tools and techniques of painting and plastering technology.

Hours: Full time (40 hours), Day Shift, Weekend work required

Location: Johns Hopkins Hospital Baltimore, MD

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Requires 10 years related work experience, of which at least 5 years has been in a supervisory
    capacity.
  • Knowledge of painting techniques, procedures and materials.
  • Knowledge of safety rules, procedures and practices, including the proper use of safety equipment as defined by OSHA and industry standards.
  • Functional knowledge of computer applications (PC- and network-based), including Windows, departmental e-mail, word processing, database, spreadsheet, and maintenance/work order
    processing applications packages.

Salary Range: Minimum 29.84/hour - Maximum 52.23/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
