SUMMARY
Provides broad, day-to-day human resources support across a variety of functional areas, including employee relations, recruiting support, HR operations, and policy administration. Serves as a resource for employees and frontline supervisors, ensuring consistent application of HR policies and assisting with routine employee relations matters. Partners with more senior HR staff on more complex HR issues while independently managing recurring HR processes and providing reliable transactional and advisory support. The position helps drive operational excellence and contributes to a positive employee experience.
The Bilingual HR Generalist will also communicate with non-English speaking employees to ensure accurate communication, understanding, and comprehension related to human resources matters.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Serve as the primary point of contact for managers seeking guidance on HR policies, procedures, and standard practices.
- Provide accurate, policy-aligned responses to inquiries regarding performance management, corrective actions, compensation processes, and general HR compliance.
- Coach managers through routine HR scenarios and decision points, escalating complex or high-risk issues appropriately.
- Interpret HR policies, procedures, and guidelines for managers and ensure consistent application across the organization.
- Guide attendance management, behavior expectations, workplace standards, and policy compliance.
- Assist managers in navigating handbook updates, process changes, and new policy rollouts.
- Support managers through core HR processes such as performance evaluations, promotion requests, disciplinary actions, and leave processes.
- Assist with completion of required forms, documentation, and system transactions.
- Ensure timely follow-through on approvals, deadlines, and action items.
- Work closely with HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Payroll, and Employee Relations teams to resolve manager inquiries.
- Recognize trends or repeated issues and escalate them for potential policy clarification or training needs.
- Partner with Senior HR Generalists and HR Business Partners for cases requiring deeper analysis or strategic guidance.
- Help update knowledge base articles, standard responses, and process guides as needed.
- Participate in training sessions for new HR processes, system updates, or compliance changes.
- Ensure that all responses and guidance align with company policies and employment law requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
- Identify potential compliance risks and escalate promptly.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field (Required)
Work Experience:
- 5+ years of human resource experience required
- One year of relevant education may be substituted for one year of required work experience, or one year of relevant professional-level work experience may be substituted for one year of required education.
Salary Range: $31.53/hour - $52.06/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. 31.53 31.53
