Psychiatric LCSW-C
Join a collaborative, patient-centered hospital team delivering timely, safe, and cost-effective psychiatric care. We’re seeking a licensed Psychiatric LCSW-C to assess, coordinate, and advocate for patients from admission through discharge, working closely with families, interdisciplinary teams, ED staff, and community partners.
What you’ll do
- Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop/implement individualized care plans.
- Provide crisis intervention, ED psychiatric evaluations, and consults for medical teams.
- Coordinate discharge planning, community referrals, and third-party pre-certification.
- Serve as a patient and family advocate; educate on treatment plans and payer guidelines.
- Facilitate communication across the care team and with external providers.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, outreach, and departmental education.
What we’re looking for
- MSW or Master’s from an accredited program; LCSW-C licensure required.
- Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience; ED or acute psychiatric experience preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and care coordination skills.
- Knowledge of age-specific needs (infant to geriatric) and community resources.
- Ability to negotiate with payers and function independently within an interdisciplinary team.

Salary Range: Minimum 1.00/hour - Maximum 1.00/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
