General Summary:

Under the general supervision of the Chief imaging Technologist and with the assistance of a physician, performs a more extensive range of diagnostic ultrasound and intervention procedures, assists in the training and supervision of Sonographers, participate in clinical research studies, orients and educates medical staff in theory and applications of ultrasound technology. This position is 90% clinical and 10% administrative.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree and successful completion of an approved curriculum in diagnostic ultrasound.
  • At least five (5) years of clinical experience in diagnostic obstetrical ultrasound.
  • Requires a thorough knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathology as related Obstetrical Ultrasound.
  • Current and active registered diagnostic medical sonographer (RDMS) in obstetrics and fetal echocardiography.

Salary Range: Minimum 45.28/hour - Maximum 74.76/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
