Job Responsibilities:
Oversees the daily operations of the department, ensuring compliance and quality service delivery. Implements strategic planning and budget management to enhance operational efficiency. Conducts risk assessments and implements cost-control measures to maintain regulatory compliance. Identifies trends and areas for improvement through data analysis. Leads a dedicated team and fosters a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Essential Functions:
- Oversees the strategic direction and operational management.
- Develops and implements policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborates with senior leadership to align department operations with organizational goals.
- Manages relationships with key stakeholders, including providers, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
- Monitors budget planning and financial performance of department operations.
- Leads initiatives to improve member satisfaction and service delivery.
- Analyzes operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Directs the development and execution of projects and programs.
- Oversees the recruitment, training, and development of staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in healthcare administration, public health, business administration, or a related field required
- Master's Degree in healthcare administration, public health, business administration, or a related field strongly preferred
- Minimum of 10 Years of experience in health plan management or a related field required including a minimum of 5 years of management experience with significant business impact
Salary Range: $185,000 to $235,000 per year Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
