Responsible for managing the day-to-day administrative operations for the Office of the President of the Johns Hopkins Hospital. Provides support for and coordinates a variety of special events/projects assigned by the President. Responsible for the direct supervision of the administrative office staff. Researches, compiles, interprets, and maintains data to develop administrative reports. Develops and implements office workflow procedures to ensure timely operations.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy.

- Addresses problems that are highly varied, complex, and often non-recurring, requiring staff input, innovative, creative, and diagnostic techniques to resolve issues.
- Applies extensive in-depth and/or broad knowledge, skills, and practices to perform a variety of complex assignments in Executive Administrative Support.
- Advanced proficiency and experience using the Microsoft Office Package (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
- Completes all travel arrangements for the President and tracks reimbursement of business expenses.
- Acts as a resource person for corporate officers, trustees, management staff, and external agencies, serving as the chief contact person for day-to-day business.
- Oversees the day-to-day administrative functions of the staff in the President’s Office, performing annual reviews and making judgment calls on schedule conflicts.
- Handles logistics and coordinates a variety of special events and projects assigned by the President.
- Handles corporate sponsorships, seeking management approval, coordinating communication with charitable organizations, and managing related logistics.
Education:
Requires two years college level course work, technical business school, or equivalent.
Work Experience:
Must have 3 to 5 years of related experience in health care administration and office management.
Salary Range: $28.90/hour - $47.71/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
