The Staff Pharmacist (PRN) in Wholesale Distribution reports to the Wholesale Operations Supervisor and is responsible for ongoing management and operations of the Wholesale Distribution Services. The Staff Pharmacist will oversee the day-to-day wholesale operations, off-site visits, as well as the progress of any special pharmacy-related projects. They also complete other duties as assigned by the Wholesale Supervisor to ensure compliance with professional, State, and Federal regulations and standards. The Staff Phamacist provides direction and supervision for the wholesale staff, assures drug and supply information to include, but not limited to shortages, recalls, and communication to internal and external wholesale customers. The Staff Pharmacist works under moderate supervision with appropriate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgement. In the absence of the wholesale supervisor, the staff pharmacist reports to the assistant director of inventory managment in the event the wholesale supervisor of assistant direct is not available, the staff pharmacist may act as the pharmacist in charge.
Schedule: Casual/Call, Days, 16 hours per week

Education:
- Graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy resulting in a Pharm.D degree or. B.S. in Pharmacy
Requirements:
- License to practice pharmacy in the state of Maryland
- Certified by the Maryland Board of Pharmacy to provide vaccinations (preferred)
- At least two years retail/outpatient pharmacy experience preferred
- Active CPR certification (preferred)

Salary Range: Minimum $41.09/hour - Maximum $74.51/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
