The Medical Office Coordinator II position performs a wide range of clerical, office, registration, and insurance, and financial clearance focused duties. The incumbent is responsible for supporting the patient access operations and insurance coordination for the outpatient therapy team.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  1. High School diploma or GED required
  2. Two years of work experience required in a similar service-oriented industry
  3. Intermediate computer and proof-reading skills required
  4. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required. Epic experience preferred.
  5. Training will be provided for Hopkins clinical information systems, and proficiency must be achieved and maintained
  6. Knowledge of general medical terminology required
  7. Demonstrated ability for self-direction, initiation, and handling of multiple tasks required
  8. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team required
  9. Demonstrated customer service skills required
  10. Work requires the analytical skills to gather and interpret data in situations in which the information or problems are relatively routine.

Salary Range: Minimum 18.87/hour - Maximum 31.15/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
