Position Summary

The Mental Health Therapist provides direct psychosocial assessment, psychotherapy, care coordination, and discharge planning in collaboration with patients, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include intake and care planning, crisis and grief interventions, medication monitoring, documentation, resource referral, family meetings, and participation in rounds, quality improvement, and on-call coverage as needed.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in applied psychology or related field
  • Maryland LGPC or LGSW-C
  • 1 year of healthcare-related experience preferred; field placement may count

Salary Range: Minimum 34.62/hour - Maximum 57.19/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
