The Nursing Coordinator is a vital leader within the Children’s Hospital and an integral member of the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center leadership team. This role is responsible for managing complex clinical care across the center and serving as the supervisor-administrator on call during off shifts in the absence of the clinical manager.
The Nursing Coordinator oversees bed management, patient flow, and throughput 24/7 to help ensure efficient, safe, and timely patient care. This position provides clinical expertise at the bedside, supports frontline teams with troubleshooting complex patient care issues, and responds to emergency situations. In addition, the Nursing Coordinator attends all RRT/ALPHA traumas and assists with the transport of critically ill patients throughout the center.
The ideal candidate will be a collaborative, experienced nursing leader who can coordinate services across disciplines, support staff, and contribute to a high-performing, patient-centered environment.
Weekly Working Hours: 36 hours per week
Shift: Rotating Shift

Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in nursing (Required)
• RN - Registered Nurse License (Required)
• CPR - Basic Certification (Required)
• PALS Certification (Required)
• Five (5) years of nursing experience (Required)

Salary Range: Minimum 52.76/hour - Maximum 81.78/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
