Shift: 36 hours all twelve-hour shifts, every third weekend, rotating. (7am-7pm, 7pm-7am)

The Johns Hopkins Hospital's Nelson 7 is a 23-bed medical floor, with capacity for 12 patients requiring telemetry. On this unit, you will provide care to complex medical patients, specializing in acute and chronic cardiac disorders (CHF, cardiomyopathy, acute MI, dysrhythmia, etc.). The unit has a family-like feel and are known to celebrate JHH diversity through their international potlucks. The staff are adept at encouraging one another and fostering positive relationships across all disciplines.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Active Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Maryland is required.

  • 1 year of acute care (hospital) tech experience.

  • BLS CPR certification required: AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted.

Salary Range: Minimum 18.41/hour - Maximum 27.70/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
