Position Summary:

  • The Starbucks Retail Manager assists in planning, administering, and directing all activities related to food service retail operations.
  • Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of effective merchandizing, quality assessment of marketplace conditions, customer expectations and product selection while upholding the Healthy at Hopkins initiatives.
  • Drives customer and employee satisfaction.

Full-time (40 hours of work per week)

Education/ Experience

  • High school degree/GED required

  • BS degree in food service, hospitality or related field

  • Three (3) to five (5) years previous management experience in high-volume food service operation, retail/franchise experience preferred.

Licensure/Certifications

  • Current ServSafe certification, or must be able to pass within probationary period.

Salary Range: Minimum 32.44/hour - Maximum 56.79/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
