The Lead Distribution Associate is under general supervision, but according to established policies and procedures, the Lead Distribution Associate assigns and reviews the work of Distribution Associates in the Consolidated Service Center, assuring all processes are flowing throughout the shift. This position must maintain a clean and safe work environment according to established policies and procedures. During the absence of the shift supervisor, this position serves as the operational leader who engages the team in receiving, shipping, unpacking, picking, staging, storage, verification and monitoring of stock for the JHHS member institutions. This position requires completing appropriate paperwork and entering information into department computer system.

Education:
Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a G.E.D. certification, required.
Responsibilities:
- Verifying accuracy of warehouse deliveries by comparing to purchase orders. Inspecting items for damage or defects.
- Completing appropriate paperwork and entering information into department computer system.
- Unloading and unpacking items from delivery vehicle.
- Filling pick-list requests for warehouse items.
- Preparing and packing items for transport to various sites.
- Operating motorized and manual material handling equipment including, but not limited to, forklift, pallet jacks and reach trucks.
- Meeting established picking and receiving expectations in accordance to standards of operation.
Work Experience:
- Four years of relevant work experience in warehouse, distribution, manufacturing or similar work environments. Prior leadership experience preferred.
Machines, Tools Equipment:
- Must be able to operate data processing equipment including computers, bar code and image scanners, voice picking system and hand-held order entry system.
- Must be able to operate motorized and manual material handling equipment including fork lifts, pallet jacks and reach trucks.

Salary Range: Minimum 18.87/hour - Maximum 31.15/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
