The Johns Hopkins Hospital announces its fifth consecutive Magnet DesignationThe Johns Hopkins Hospital announcemed its fifth consecutive Magnet designation, an honor that is achieved by less than 1% of hospitals in the United States. This prestigious designation is considered the gold standard for nursing excellence and is the highest national credential a hospital can receive for professional nursing practice. We were recognized for 10 exemplars and of note by the presenter were mentioned our; early aligned discharge process, cost effectiveness and the actions of our Leadership Response Team.
