Nelson 8
The Johns Hopkins Hospital's Nelson 8 is a 23-bed medical floor, with capacity for 10 patients requiring telemetry. RN's on the unit care for a mix of complex medical patients, including pulmonary, endocrine, GI, renal, cardiac, and neuro. On this unit, the Registered Nurse will gain experience with continuous drips & IV titrations for antiarrhythmics, dopamine, nitroglycerin, heparin, and PCA pumps. This unit is very supportive of new staff.

Shift: PRN Days - 12-hour shifts (minimum of 2 in 6-week schedule)

Requirements:
- Associate degree in nursing from an accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred.
- Active BLS via AHA, American Red Cross or Military Training Network at time of hire
- Active Maryland RN or Compact License at time of hire

Salary Range: Minimum 1.00 per hour - Maximum 1,000.00 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
