The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA ) at the Sibley Urology Clinic is vital in providing safe and efficient daily operations in addition to performing front desk duties. The Sibley Physician Group- Medical Assistant ensures the coordination, facilitation, and delivery of quality patient care at Sibley Memorial Hospital in support of members of the Sibley Physicians Group (SPG). Through skilled triage and assessment, education, collaboration and coordination of healthcare and community resources, the Medical Assistant assists patients to achieve optimum functional health status and quality of life. In the role of the Administrative Assistant, individual will facilitate the patient flow on clinic days and ensure that she/he is alternating between administrative and clinical duties, depending what is necessary on any given day.

Location: 5215 Loughboro Rd., Washington, DC 20016

Shift: Full Time (40 hours) - 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. -Day Shift, No weekends

Minimum Requirements

  • High school graduate/GED required. Graduation from accredited Medical Assistant training program required.
  • Experience in a Speciality clinic work environment preferred.
  • AAMA, RMA, NRCMA, NCMA, CCMA, CMA, RCMAS certification required
  • Active BLS/CPR certification

Salary Range: Minimum $18.23/hour - Maximum $30.08/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
